Before the Ceremony

We had photos at the university. But this meant that Kendra and Aaron were going to see each other before the ceremony. We arrived at the university Library building in seperate vehicles. The girls remained in the van while Aaron was escorted to the stairs to wait.

Then Kendra walked toward him, he turned, he saw her, and all of us girls reached for a Kleenex.

A little tease

It has been a busy week - followed by a busy weekend and a long drive home. I was also straight back to work this morning and was busy this evening. As a result I have not had time to put up a full post about Kendra and Aaron's Wedding. To tide you over (and to give me time to sort through the over 250 photos I took), here are a few shots.

Kendra's Stagette

I'm in Regina. Here for Kendra's Wedding.

I have some pictures I would like to post but am unable to at this time. Some pictures I took and don't remember doing so. I think that means we had a good time.

It was a very elegant cocktail party. We were dressed up in cocktail dresses at one of the other bridesmaids houses. We drank martinis, played games and chatted.
There was a great "newly wed" game - where the groom previously answered questions and Kendra has to match them. Only the twist was that the hostess had previously recorded that answers and it was hilarious! Definitely an idea to hold onto. (Also Family Feud Wedding Edition and Dirty Drink Name Game)

We ended up at La Bodega. My memory tells me we were there for a very short period of time. We were actually there for a couple of hours. This is where it gets a little foggy for me.

I was a big mess the next day - but was not the worst. We had a bridal party meeting at noon at Kendra's to go over the week ahead of us. I was the worst of the people that showed up - but one didn't make it.

New Appliances

My new appliances have been delivered. I love them.

We decided on white, Kitchenaid.

The dishwasher

Stainless steel interior, nylon racks and all sorts of bells and whistles.

Range

Self-cleaning, convection over with smooth ceramic cook top. My favorite part is the conversion for the convection oven. It converts the temperature and the time to reflect the speed at which convection ovens cook. It also has a third element at the convection fan, hidden bake element and three racks.
